The alliance was founded by Professor LIN Hsien-Te, the father of green building in Taiwan in 2011. Professor Lin has the experience on promoting green building for over 20 years and he has brought the development of green building to a more systematic level. Through creating a database of domestic carbon inventory, the LCBA trains experts to evaluate life cycle and carbon emission of buildings, as well as the industry value chain. It also provides the consulting services on the Blue Ocean Strategy for the industry. The LCBA has more than a hundred members currently and it provides advisory services on carbon inventory for regional governments.
