I think green finance will move both larger-scale and smaller-scale. This is somewhat contradicting but not unusual. For larger scale, I meant the issuance of green bond backed by renewable projects. Bond issuance requires scale and liquid market. A large and liquid green bond market is only possible when there are number of issuances of the green bond from various institutions such as banks, project-backed vehicles, etc. For smaller scale, I believe there will be room for crowd-funding like structure for renewable projects. The more mature the market, the more green financing opportunities will open up. The key here is scale and maturity of the regime.
