Lai is a plastic material circular practitioner that has participated in many domestic and international research projects, industry-academia collaborations, and published many related papers and patents. His main research areas include organic synthetic chemistry, biodegradable plastics, bioplastics, environmental materials, nanocomposites, etc. He is the general manager of Chiao Fu Materials Technology Co., Ltd. He is also the mentor of Green Impact Academy.
