It dedicates to the research and development (R&D) on nuclear safety, green energy, energy conservation, carbon emission reduction, radioactive waste treatment and disposal technologies. In 2014, the Center of Energy Economics and Strategy Research (CEESR) was formally established for supporting government's policy decision maker with energy strategy recommendations. The major research areas of CEESR focus on energy engineering model, energy economic model, energy statistics, energy strategy research and social intention survey.
